ACCURATE FISHING IN THE JOLLY MON!

This past Saturday, 6/19/10, Joshua, Crockett, and I had the privilege of fishing in Capt. Brant McMullan's Jolly Mon King Mackerel Tournament out of Ocean Isle Beach, NC. As always, it was a true pleasure. With 306 entries, the Ocean Isle Fishing Center once again proved how successful a well orchestrated king mackerel tournament can be.

My new Accurate BX-600X reels provided my sons and I a great day on the water, catching four king mackerel, a 31# cobia, a couple of stinkys, two shingle dolphin, and a BAZILLION rubber lips!! Overall, it was a fantastic day with my family.

Attached is a photo of a nice fish we caught a little to late in the day to make the long from where we fished. It would have placed us seventh in the tournament. We should have caught her earlier!! Oh well, maybe next year.
